Yugoslavia, Kingdom. An Order Of the Crown, Fourth Class with Case.
Instituted in 1930 by King Alexander First to commemorate the unification of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia on October 3,1929,when the Kingdom of Serbs,Croats and Slovene was reduced to this new realm. The Order was conferred upon Yugoslavia and foreigners in recognition of meritorious Civil and military service rendered to the King and Yugoslavia, for the country and the national unification. The Order was regulated under the influence of the Legion d'honneur;it was authorized with five classes on a single-colored ribbon. The Order was abolished along with the capitulation of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in 1941.Order in very good condition all enamel intact, worn on an original blue triangular ribbon,accompanied to its original case of issue, the interior stamped for maker HUGUENIN FRERES and Co.,some wear to exterior,hinge and clasp in working order , weighs of order 31.6 grams, measuring approximately 43.5mm(w)x 58.5mm(h) including laurel wreath.
