Constructed of interwoven dark blue rayon threading, each end culminating in a loop for uniform button attachment, one end with an integrated oval dark blue wool disk,unmarked, measuring 46 cm in total length, accompanied by its original award document, named to "MATROSE HANS GURLICH" of 5.Kompanie,awarded for competency with the Gewehr 98k rifle, issued at Wesermunde on 11 December 1939,measuring 20.5cm(w)×30cm(h),demonstrating folding creases and minor tearing to the edges, in very fine condition.
