A Rare FEIDJAGERKORPS Gorget.

(Wehrmacht Ringkragen der Feldjagerkorps).Constructed of magnetic metal with a matte silver base paint, the obverse bearing a central raised Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, situated above a pebbled and patinated banner bearing a raised inscription of "FELDJAGERKORPS"("FIELD RIFLEMAN CORPS "),topped at the upper corners by flattened studs,with obverse featuring retaining the vast majority of their original luminescent paint, the multi-link magnetic metal neck chain, the right corner topped by a magnetic loop for the chain, the left side two clips accommodation of the chain and attachment to a uniform lapel, attachment is marked "A" for F.W. Assmann & Sohne- Ludenscheid. The Gorget measuring 16.5cm(w)×11cm(h),rare example worn by personnel of the most senior branch of Wehrmacht field police in near extremely fine condition.
