12. SS - Panzer - Division "Hitlerjugend" Cuff Title by "BeVo"

In the summer of 1943, formation of an SS-Panzergrenadier-Divison made up mainly of seventeen - year- old members of the Hitler Youth who had not yet begun their compulsory military service. In the autumn of that year the unit was renamed 1.SS-PANZER-DIVISION "Hitlerjugend". Propaganda Minister Dr.Goebbels considered the new Division's name unwise, because it would show the world that Germany already had to take children away from their shoulder desks. Cuff title is unissued ,it is of black rayon construction, with "BeVo"(for Bandfabrik Edward Vorsteher Wuppertal) style,machine woven.
