Medal in die-struck bronze;unmarked but these medals were produced exclusively by Deschler of Munich and Pets and Lorenz of Unterreichenbach;measuring 38mm.in diameter, weighs 24.7 grams; exquisite manufacturing quality with very fine details. The reverse in German ( For Faithful Service in the SS). The SS long Service Awards were first introduced by Adolf Hitler on January 30,1938.The Awards ceased to be awarded at the end of 1941. Medal in the excellent condition.
