A Panzer Assault Badge, Silver Grade by Karl Wurster.

Constructed of silvered zinc. Wurster was the first and most important maker of early Panzer Assault Badge in Bronze, but also known on its later war zinc production, marked on reverse with logo KWM in the circle, standing for Karl Wurster Markneukirchen. The question mark shaped catch and later years production Wurster replaced their Standart block hinge with a cheaper and easier to apply sheet metal hinge, pin,catch and hinge is magnetic, measuring 41.45mm(w) x 60.25mm(h),weighing 35.7 grams, demonstrating near-total loss of silver finish,very common on zinc badges,aftermath Badge in very fine condition.
