The town of Ludenscheid, long known for its metal craftsmen.A major collection of manufacturers existed in and around Ludenscheid, including Steinhauer & Luck, Wilhelm Deumer, Schauerte & Hohfeld, Friedrich Linden and others. Cross and case in excellent condition, measuring 44mm × 44mm, weighing 18.2 grams,case constructed of a light wooden frame with a faux black leather exterior liner, the interior with a white rayon lid liner, a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, measuring 79.87mm(w)x 137.60mm(L) x 24.74mm(h),in overall extremely fine condition. Cross is three piece construction, magnetic core.
