Germany, Heer. A Sports Shirt

A well-preserved Heer sports shirt,constructed of white cotton. The shirt is sleeveless and features dual shoulder straps. Stitched onto the chest is an insignia consisting of a white cotton backer bearing a machine- embroidered black Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika. The interior of the collar features a label with a machine embroidered red size mark of "42".Minor soiling consistent with period usage is evident, but the shirt remains in a near extremely fine condition.
