An Early SS Enlisted Belt and Buckle by Overhoff & Cie.

Extremely rare, excellent condition SS enlisted of stamped nickel Buckle.The reverse is stamped "O&C(Overhoff & Cie)Ges.gesch." This would indicate the Buckle was produced prior to the introduction of the RZM identification stamp.It was a design creation of A.Hitler, with the final design drawings being rendered by the firm of Overhoff & Cie. in 1927. Official design recognition came in 1931. Technique of spot-welding the shaped bar was employed, this was restricted to steel Buckles due to the heat generated. Belt is 120cm. in length with double Sig-Runes imprinted on the inside of the belt. Scarce belt and Buckle.
