SS- TOTENKOPFSTANDARTE II Brandenburg Serving Spoon.

Extremely rare serving spoon of 2ND SS-TOTENKOPFSTANDARTE-BRANDENBURG.The five Sturmbanne (battalions) were restructured into three Standarten (regiments) on 1st July 1937,commemorative engraving on the back of the spoon, SS-TOTENKOPFVERBANDE (Deaths Head Units),Regiment was based at Sachenhausen near Oranienbuburg not far away from Berlin. The spoon is marked "Alpacca", length 275mm.Front is ingraved TOTENKOPF (skull) and II for standarten BRANDENBURG. The Oranienbuburg one of the first concentration camps,was established on March 21st 1933.The SA was run camp in the beginning, and in July 1934 was taken over by SS.
