The Spange and Cross Combination, by B.H.Mayer, Pforzheim.
Excellent example of a combination by B.H.Mayer, 1914 Iron cross First Class is marked with LDO number "L/18" just beneath the anti-rotation pin at the very bottom of the lower cross arm, cross is equipped with a screw disc, the hook on the top of the combo is to hang it on a tunic loop, balancing the award in an efficient way and keeping tight to the uniform.
