Cuff title first version for officers. 11.SS- Division Nordland can be traced to January 1943,Division was put in hand in March- July 1943.The divisional commander, SS- Brigadenfuhrer Frits von Sholz,was the former commander of the Nodland Regiment. Twenty-seven soldiers of the Nordland were decorated with the Knights Cross to the Iron cross.
