British WW2 Medals with box to G.W.Smith of HAYES MIDDLESEX;War Medal 1939-1945,the 1939/45 star and the France and Germany star, cardboard medal postal,addressed to G.W.Smith from 136,Ashford Avenue in Hayes, Middlesex.The label on the back tells us that the medals were sent out by the Royal Artillery depot in Footscray,Kent so they are Army related. One of the sides of the cardboard box has come unstuck but it could be easily repaired. The medal ribbons original, still folded,unused and as issued.
